345
West
14th
Street

345 West 14th Street frames the gateway to New York's Meatpacking District. Referencing modern and classic industrial architecture of the Gansevoort Market Historic District, the façade is a study in contrasts, using hand-laid Kolumba brick from Denmark, a board formed concrete landscaped marquee, bronze storefront at the base and a three-story cornice of penthouses above, enclosed in a solid bronze window wall. Working with DDG Partners, Risposta served as construction manager of the project from structure through to completion.

Tiketike way

A pair of nineteenth century townhouses are combined and completely renovated to suit the most discerning modern residents. Improvements include an entirely new structural steel frame, an additional fourth floor penthouse and the faithful and meticulous restoration of the historic facade to its former glory.

The design of 25 Wooster Street is predicated upon an artful balance of new and old, celebrating the craft and materiality of traditional building, while underscoring the properties’ recent industrial past with a sleek, modern counterpoint. Again with DDG Partners, Risposta led both the design and construction teams for 25 Wooster, ultimately delivering a truly remarkable product and a landmark residence for the neighborhood.

Working with developer Crafted Projects and Solari Architects, Risposta delivered detailed design, coordination, and construction documentation services for the new multi-residential project at Tiketike Way in Brooklyn, Wellington. Risposta worked hand-in-hand with local Geotechnical, Structural, and Civil Consultants to optimize the yield on this steep and challenging site.

The project is comprised of four clusters (with six homes in each) which are thoughtfully positioned to ensure easy access, maximum privacy and flexible outdoor living. Construction completion is scheduled for June 2021.

The key to this project's success has been the team's fresh approach to residential intensification through incorporation of the site's natural characteristics. Tiketike's new take on this typology will generate much-needed capacity in this era of extreme pressure on the Wellington housing market.
